Booked this hotel for two nights for a business trip. The hotel is centrally located and only a 20 minute cheap taxi ride away from the airport. A beautiful building and in immaculate repair – public areas tasteful and traditionally decorated with marble floors etc. My room was perfect, well furnished, well decorated and spotlessly clean. The public places of the hotel were equally stunning, plenty of space and a great modern lobby. Breakfast was inexpensive and offered plenty of choice. My room was at the back and very quiet, but the hotel is located in a quiet area so I would guess all rooms are quiet.
Staff were pleasant and helpful – especially the slim girl on reception with floral patterns on her jeans – didn’t get her name. She recommended restaurants and was particularly helpful. If I return to Oradea I’ll stay again. For the overall standard and compared with western European prices my room rate was ridiculously low!
